從早期螺旋槳客機到噴射與超音速年代，本系列以英國航空 British Airways 及其歷史前身的模型為主題，讓收藏家以機隊與塗裝串連英國民航的發展。

從 1919 年開始的航空傳承

1919 年 8 月 25 日，Aircraft Transport and Travel（AT&T）開通倫敦至巴黎的每日國際定期航班，成為英航歷史傳承的重要起點。1924 年成立的帝國航空 Imperial Airways，進一步拓展歐洲及跨洲航線；1930 年代的 HP42、Armstrong Whitworth AW27 Ensign 與 Short 飛行艇，則見證長途航空旅行的早期發展。

帝國航空、BOAC 與 BEA

帝國航空與當時的 British Airways Ltd 的合併，奠定 BOAC（英國海外航空）的基礎。BOAC 於 1940 年開始營運，承擔戰時服務；1946 年成立的 BEA（英國歐洲航空）則發展國內與歐洲航線。這些歷史品牌在本系列中按英航傳承一併展示，商品本身仍保留其當年的航空公司身分。

噴射客機與協和年代

1952 年，BOAC 以 de Havilland Comet 開展噴射客機服務；1958 年 Comet 4 開通跨大西洋噴射服務。其後的 Boeing 707、Vickers VC10、Trident 與 Boeing 747，帶來不同世代的機隊面貌。1974 年 BOAC 與 BEA 合併成為 British Airways，1976 年協和客機投入服務。

現代英航與塗裝收藏

從 1980 年代的 Landor 企業形象、1990 年代的世界尾翼設計，到協和客機於 2003 年退役及希斯洛五號航廈於 2008 年啟用，英航的故事亦反映在不同模型與塗裝之中。2010 年代起，IAG 架構與新世代長途機隊延續了這段航空傳承。

A collection of British aviation heritage

Explore British Airways and its historic predecessors through aircraft models spanning early propeller airliners, the jet age and supersonic travel. The heritage begins with AT&T's daily international London–Paris service in 1919, followed by Imperial Airways in 1924 and the development of BOAC and BEA.

Comet, Boeing 707, VC10, Trident and Boeing 747 marked successive chapters of fleet development. BOAC and BEA became British Airways in 1974, with Concorde entering service in 1976. Later Landor and world-tail designs, the opening of Heathrow Terminal 5 and modern long-haul aircraft provide further themes for collectors. Historic airlines retain their original identities on individual product listings.
